LIVE PERFORMANCE REEL
This reel represents much of Ryan's live performance work primarily as Director, but also as DP, Editor, and Colorist.
Live performance holds a special place amongst a core group of filmmakers and collaborators that Ryan works with most frequently. For many, including Ryan, live performance was a starting place in the filmmaking journey. Beginning with Ryan's personal project, SerialBox Presents, this group has continued to grow, experiment, and to try and push the form forward in as interesting ways as possible.
These are primarily Spotify, Vevo, and Amazon Music projects featuring a wide range of artists, many of whom won Grammy Awards this year.
All of the films in the reel were produced by Jordy Wax, Executive Producer of Contrast Films. But more than that, they were made with attention and care by a group of filmmakers committed to furthering the format of live performance.
